Retail Security Group has been operating in the U.S. retail sector since 2004. Across more than two decades, RSG has supplied hardware, installed systems, and supported stores ranging from single location independents to large national chains. RSG's installation work is performed by RSG's own technicians. The company does not subcontract installation, so the quality of the install is owned end to end by the same team that sold the equipment.
RFID for inventory is a natural extension of that work. The decision to add RFID inventory hardware and software to the RSG product line came after years of observing what U.S. independent and regional retailers actually needed: enterprise grade equipment without enterprise tier overhead, software that adapts to the store rather than the other way around, and a U.S. based partner who picks up the phone when something needs to be sorted out.
RSG selected Century as its RFID manufacturer partner after evaluating the global RFID hardware market. Century manufactures RFID equipment for retail brands worldwide. The C8001 handheld reader and the C8005 industrial label printer were chosen because they meet the specifications that U.S. retailers expect, including speed, range, durability, and certifications, at a price that lets a single store independent realistically deploy the technology.

RSG is the U.S. distributor for the Century product lines listed on this site. Distribution, support, on site installation, and warranty handling for U.S. customers are performed by RSG.
